Lifeline Bookfest on the Gold Coast is a second-hand book sale, with funds raised going toward our 13 11 14 Lifeline Crisis Support Line. We would like to extend a big thank you to all the Bookfestians who attended our previous event! By purchasing second-hand books at Lifeline Bookfest Gold Coast, you are helping us to save lives.

    Entry is free.

  • What’s on and facilities

    • Cards and cash accepted.
    • Please BYO bags/suitcases or purchase a $1 Lifeline bag.
    • More than 300 food, variety stalls and attractions at the markets.
    • Free book bag minding! We can look after your books while you browse the rest of the markets; just collect them when you’re ready to go home.
  • Parking and transport

    Carrara Markets has free parking for more than 4,000 cars.

    For public transport users:

    • Catch the G:Link Tram to Broadbeach South Station, then catch a connecting Translink or Surfside bus to Carrara Markets.
    • Catch the train to Nerang Train Station, then catch a connecting Translink or Surfside bus to Carrara Markets.

    Paperback, Hardback, Reference, Health and Wellbeing, Cooking, Childrens, History, Sport, Reference, Religion, Craft and more.
