Lifeline’s volunteers answer more than 2,500 calls to our 13 11 14 Crisis Support Line every day from Australians in crisis. By becoming a Crisis Supporter you can offer hope to people in their darkest moments and help us achieve our vision of an Australia free of suicide.
At Lifeline Queensland, we believe that sometimes, people just need to be heard. We are seeking compassionate individuals from all walks of life to join our team of Crisis Support Volunteers. By dedicating just a few hours, you can provide empathy and understanding to those in need, helping them feel connected and supported.
We deliver the nationally accredited training for CHCSS00113 Crisis Support Skill Set on behalf of Lifeline Australia RTO 88036.
There are different ways to be a volunteer crisis supporter with Lifeline Queensland: onsite at one of our 10 locations across Queensland, or remotely from your own home as either a voice or digital crisis supporter. To find out more, come along to one of our upcoming information sessions.
