Lifeline Shops volunteer roles available

Our retail volunteers are often the public face of Lifeline, offering warm and friendly service. We offer a range of days and times, with many of our shops open seven days a week.

Available activities are as diverse as the people who fill them including:

• Customer Service team members.
• Warehouse Team members.
• Truck drivers.
• Sorting and categorising.
• Pricing.
• Preparing donations for the shop floor.

Lifeline Crisis Line volunteer roles

Sometimes people just need to be heard. Crisis Supporters offer a non-judgmental ear, giving hope to those who need it most. This volunteer opportunity might be the right fit for you if you:

• Are a good listener.
• Can demonstrate good communication skills.
• Show empathy and have a non-judgmental attitude.
• Are compassionate and committed to helping others.
• Have a desire to make a positive difference.
• Can pass comprehensive selection criteria.
• Complete the nationally recognised Lifeline Crisis Support Training program.
• You must also be able to dedicate six hours per fortnight to volunteering as a Crisis Supporter.
